Trustee resigns from the GTS Board

by

In the aftermath of Friday’s contentious decision by the Board of Trustees to not reinstate the forcibly-resigned faculty members, and to fully back the dean of the seminary, the reverberations continue to echo.

Yesterday evening, trustee Jeffrey Small, Jr of Atlanta, announced his resignation on Twitter:

Mr. Small is the only trustee, as of this writing, to resign in the wake of recent events at General.

What a pity that Mark Sisk and not Andrew Dietsche is the head of the board of trustees! They could use a real moral leader.

Jeffrey Small's stepping down from the board shows he is a person of principle.

Bishop Dietsche's letter is very informative. I would suggest everyone read it to see better how the meeting went on Friday. The outcome is regrettable, but perhaps there is still room for resolution.
