Camp Allen is being evacuated due to nearby fires

The Episcopal Diocese of Texas reports that Camp Allen had to be evacuated this morning due to the wildfires in Texas.

Episcopal News Service updated the article on the work of Calvary Church in Bastrop (30 miles from Austin) in the midst of the wildfires. Rector Lisa Hines is among those who has lost her home, but she and her community are still supporting others. At least thirty homes have now been lost.

Bishop Andy Boyle has asked for people to “Join us in a prayer for those who have lost so much.
