HOB was for tweeting before it was against tweeting?

What if there was a tweet in the forest and nobody read it? Maybe tweeting was allowed but we weren't supposed to follow it.

A consensus was reached on social media, but we weren't told what it was. Has the consensus changed? Recall,

http://www.episcopalchurch.org/79425_127726_ENG_HTM.htm

March 25

HOB Vice President Bishop Dean Wolfe of Kansas talked about the seven core values of HOB. Following that, there were discussions about the use of Facebook, texting and tweeting during the HOB meetings, and a consensus was reached among the members.

Re "no live tweeting."

I hardly see how this fosters transparency and trust. I thought that we were through with secret conclaves. I would vote as one highly opposed to such foolishness. If you will not say something in public, don't say it in the HOB either.

I would love to know who in the HOB objected to the live tweets? That's probably "confidential" as well.

Boo.........! Hiss.........!
