“Today is Sunday. I am planning to make a casserole, bake a homemade apple pie, bake some bread, mix a cocktail in a pitcher and have some friends over, six feet apart, to eat and drink and laugh and weep and make political donations, make the debate into a drinking game and discuss our lives – the successes, the failures. We will share life-advice and courage. And when I do that I will wonder… “what would Jesus do if he saw us doing this instead of going to Church?”
Day: October 4, 2020
Special guest, the Rev. Jeff Martinhauk, joins us to discuss Jesus’ parable of the Wicked Tenants from this week’s gospel
Our struggles with belief should not be barriers to living the life Jesus showed us
Jordan and Luci are exploring the women central to the expansion of Christianity in the west. Join them to hear discussions of history, weird facts, and even some advice for today’s Christian feminists who are trying to pick up where these awesome church mothers left off.
“So I have been allowing myself to bring my aggrieved heart to God in age-old questioning that comes straight from the inner kid. “Where are you?” I ask.”
