So for the Christian, is work a necessary evil–a way to earn money so we can do God’s work on the weekends? Or is it the primary expression of human creativity and mission? Baptist minister Matt Perlman suggests a theology of work that challenges the idea that daily work and faithful living are separate spheres.

Bishop Tengatenga to teach mission & global Anglicanism at Sewanee

The Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander, dean of the University of the South’s School of Theology, announced today the appointment of the Rt. Rev. James Tengatenga, Ph.D., as distinguished visiting professor of global Anglicanism. Tengatenga will begin officially on July 1, 2014. He will teach courses in missiology, contemporary global Anglicanism, and related subjects.
