Traditionally this weekend is the General Theological Seminary (GTS) flag football game. This year’s game was to be held at General, located in lower Manhattan, which was under blackout conditions following Superstorm Sandy. Because of Sandy, the game has been cancelled. VTS students will be making the trip anyway, as a mission trip.

This article focuses primarily on the use and misuses of St Paul in fractious contemporary church debates about sexuality and gender.
