Bishop Alan Wilson pointed us to this video about the little town of Bethlehem, and what it is like today.

Thank you for the video. It brought back memories of our tour bus going through the Bethlehem checkpoint twice a day to travel to nearby Jerusalem. We watched the humiliation of the residents and felt a bit of their isolation and the intimidation that they live with. We talked with residents whose potential for education and for work was cut off by these walls. We saw a nurse who would be 20 minutes late for her shift in the emergency room because of a button on her jeans that set off the metal detector when the sensitivity was increased one day. The embarrassment of an older woman who was almost stripped in public because of the wire under her bra. The wall felt horrible.
