I found Bishop Lee's reflection deeply moving. I find that we as clergy talk about openness and vulnerablity, about an embracing and loving God but we live a life of paradox. We clergy type are some of the most guarded and closed characters around. Perhaps this Advent season we crack our hearts open just a bit to experience the wideness of God' mercy.

Thank you, Bishop Lee. Intelligent, challenging and deeply moving. What an excellent Advent gift.

Thanks for this Jeffrey. Your story about Jonathan will be a central part of my Christmas Eve sermon this year.
