I am deeply moved by Bishops Curry, Sengulane and Smith, of Mozambique and Connecticut, and their partnership to turn weapons of violence into tools of production and works of art. I will be following their story closely, looking for a way that Episcopal Church and Visual Arts can support their great work.

The Bishop of Mozambique knocked my socks off, he's so eloquent. It's because of programs like this, swords into plowshares, and leaders like him that I'm an Episcopalian.

Here's a gift Southern Africa is giving to Connecticut and the USA. Thanks be to God.
