Companions in the faith

Daily Reading for January 26 • Timothy and Titus, Companions of St. Paul

Heavenly Father
you sent your apostle Paul to preach the gospel
and gave him Timothy and Titus
to be his companions in the faith:
grant that our fellowship in the Spirit
may bear witness to the name of Jesus;
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit
one God, now and for ever.

Collect for the Feast of Timothy and Titus from An Anglican Prayer Book 1989 of the Church of the Province of Southern Africa (HarperCollins, 1989).
