StoryKeep has produced a lovely video about St. Lydia's Dinner Church in Brooklyn. One of St. Lydia's leaders, Emily Scott, has contributed several essays, including this one, to the Cafe.
This is another one of the of the wildly different ways in which young people are enriching the worship of the church.
Lovely. We don't do dinner church regularly at St John's, but during our Lenten evening series of services, one week we shared dinner church, and it was a beautiful experience. What Emily Scott says in her essay was true. "I see Christ at this table; I see him when we sit down together to eat."
