The first person I came out to was God
And the second person he came out to was a priest. Andrew Sullivan on being gay and Catholic. (The video is 7:30 long, and there is a very moving passage about his father toward the end.)

In accordance with the Scriptures, before you came out, you were living a life of Sin. Coming out in no way absolves you of your sins. It just illuminates you as to yes you are a sinners as is everyone else in Life. What you did not do was to truly ask God for forgiveness, and “Go and sin no more!” Everyone who confess their sins to God, should strive to change their sinful ways and ask God to help, then he will be welcomed by our loving God. Knowingly admitting your Sin, yet continuing to commit the Sin is still an abomination in God’s eyes.

This is Episcopal Cafe, not Popoid and/or ConEv Cafe, Walter.
You need to actually read (mark, learn & inwardly digest) the Scriptures---in a knowledgeable translation!---not just regurgitate your respective heirarch's homophobic talking points.
Run along now, and take your LIES with you...
