LGBT students at major Christian schools

What is it like to be LGBT Christian attending a major Christian University? It's hard. There are lots of tears. And there's no one to talk to as people are trying to come to terms with their orientation. If you'd like a window into the experience check out the new file "Let Your Light Shine".

"The documentary "Let Your Light Shine" will examine the intersecting histories of Wheaton College, evangelical Christianity, gay civil rights and how LGBT students and alumni are forced to struggle with or repudiate their religion."

The willingness of LGBT alumni to reach out to the present student body is both moving and heroic. Do watch the film.

What a powerful video. Thanks so much for posting it. Deeply moving.

Inspiring. I went over to the web site, and on the list of signatories I noticed at least one Episcopal priest, Susan Buchanan of Christ Church, North Conway, NH (and I found both her and her congregation quite welcoming when I passed through there on vacation last summer).
