Straight Outta Compline

With apologies to N. W. A., the BCP Boys offer Straight Outta Compline.

Straight outta compline! Thinkin about goin to bed Gotta say my prayers til the day I'm dead I lead the boys instead down to the chapel and said: "You gotta play the shepherd till the sheep are fed!"

The rest of the lyrics are here. The BCP (Book of Common Prayer, we are guessing) Boys seem to be seminarians from the Diocese of New Westminster studying at Huron University College at the University of Western Ontario. (But don't hold us to that. [Update - They aren't Huron theology students: see the comments.])

Hello there,

Here's the back story!

I am the program director of a national young adult theology and leadership program where this was written and filmed, just as a project for fun...(the program, by the way is called Ask & Imagine http://www.askandimagine.org/ )

The guys in the film are Kyle from Prince Edward Island, Canada who was ordained a deacon two weeks after this was produced. The blond guy is Peter, a Lutheran youth minister and musician from Vancouver (so, technically not from the Diocese of New Westminster). Neither of them are seminary students but were both attending the May Ask & Imagine program at Huron (a 10 day experience of living and learning in community). The extra peeps in the video are all participants and staff (including myself, though I'm not saying which one is me...)
