Bus hits Lambeth

An out-of-control bus hit a garden wall at Lambeth Palace yesterday.

London SE1 said:

Five people were injured when part of the historic wall of Lambeth Palace Garden was demolished by an out-of-control bus on Thursday lunchtime.

... the bus demolished a section of the garden wall and flattened a lamp post in Lambeth Palace Road.

The incident comes just a week before Pope Benedict XVI is due to visit the London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Just over a month ago a rubbish truck overturned at the nearby Lambeth Bridge roundabout.

@simonsarmiento tweets "@churchtimesblog reports that the driver was employed by the CAPA primates were denied" and then asks "wld Covenant prevent?"

Pardon my language, but you CAN NOT make this sh*t up. Come on, Rowan, take the hint.

I'm shaking my head.
