Dean Linder resigns

The story of Dean Philip Linder's inhibition by Bishop Waldo in Columbia South Carolina came to a close on Friday with the announcement that Dean Linder has tendered his resignation from Trinity Cathedral.

From the local news station's website, reporting on the email that Dean Linder sent to all the members of the Cathedral:

"The email said that Linder had tendered his immediate resignation with the church officially on Sept. 23. According to the message, The Trinity Vestry voted unanimously to accept the resignation.

Services at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia continued on without Linder since July 18, shortly after he was suspended."
