BIshop plans descent

Bishop Mike Klusmeyer is planning for his next drop from the roadbed of the famous New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia to the riverbank 700 feet below. In a nod to maintaining a living witness to the Gospel, the Bishop will be using a zip line to accomplish the trip.

"Money raised will benefit the Church Periodical Club, which provides free books, tapes and magazines for seminarians and others, including the Women's Prison in Alderson and the Highland Educational Project in McDowell County.

This will be Klusmeyer's fourth Bishop's Slide. He hopes to raise $15,000 for the club."
