Australian bishops oppose Bishop Jensen's boycott of Lambeth

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that almost all church leaders in Australia are opposed to Bishop Peter Jensen's boycott of the Lambeth Conference.

The Anglican Primate of Australia, Phillip Aspinall, said yesterday that it was difficult to understand the decision by the Archbishop of Sydney, Peter Jensen, to boycott this year's Lambeth Conference, as virtually all Australian bishops declined to support Dr Jensen.

As I have written in a recent blog, the Nigeria/Sydney.Southern Cone Axis is a group busily seeking to dig up a theological system espoused by the opponents of the Elizabethan Settlement in the 16th Century, whose heirs left Anglicanism, some of whom landed on these shores to the everlasting thanksgiving of the English!

What they seem not to understand is that they have made any attempt to get TEC to live into Communion much more difficult by their own defiance of the Windsor process.
