Wait...! Wait...!

Revised. We can't record Jim Naughton's voice on your home answering machine, but can you guess which of these stories are April Fool's pranks and which ones ought to be?

1. New Episcopal shield?

2. Pop theologian sued for trespassing.

3. Going to church will make you fat.

4. Church of England to phase out old technology.

5. PETA proposes new Bible.

6. New Army headgear.

1, 2, 5 & 6 are pretty obviously Stories of the Day. 4 is obviously an AF prank; the true story would be that the Church of England is phasing IN old technology. Alas, I suspect that #3 is true. The Church Times isn't funny. (Well, except for Dave Walker cartoons.)

Look again, Bill. The PETA story was posted on CNN on March 23.

Thanks, Lisa. I love animals and I care about how we treat them, but I didn't think that even PETA was that silly.

I know, Bill. Ditto all the way.
