Petition drive for next ABC
There is an on-line petition started to the Crown Nominating Committee seeking to have Geraldine Granger be appointed Archbishop of Canterbury by the Queen, Really.
You can see the petition here:
The founder of the site, Bosco Peters, says:
The time has come to move from bearded and bushy to the "babe with a bob cut and a magnificent bosom". Bring back joy and laughter to being a Christian - no no no no no no yes?!

An April Fool's joke?

It's older than that, Nicole. I signed it ages ago. . . I think it only took Bosco 2 hours to get it up after Rowan announced his resignation.

Ah I see. I assumed it was a joke because it was posted today on here. So, exactly what makes her appropriate to be the next ABC?

You have not seen the BBC series - the Vicar of Dibley? Geraldine Granger is the vicar.

It's a comedy about parish life in Church of England. The humor is British. Some deep stuff comes out too.
