Thanks for following the Café during General Convention

Thanks to everyone who followed our coverage of the General Convention of the Episcopal Church here on the Café, on our Facebook page, and especially on Twitter, which was the defining medium of the convention.

From July 2, when we started running convention articles, until this morning, we had 51,835 visits from 18,472 visitors who viewed 124,116 pages. We picked up about 175 Facebook followers (6,149) and almost 400 new Twitter followers (5,156.)

Jim, Thanks to you and the Cafe contributors for doing a great job with convention coverage. This was the second convention that I followed with Twitter and the streaming video. It really helps those of us "at home" to feel that we are a part of this activity. Thanks for all your hard work and on the Cafe.

Thank YOU for providing us with the latest information as it was happening. I logged on to Facebook so many times just to see if you had posted anything, and the Cafe was the first place I checked. Great journalism, super coverage! Now if could just get the hang of tweeting :))) Maybe by next time!
