I don't always go to church but when I do ....

President Obama will worship today at Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church. Later today he will be sworn in a private televised ceremony. (Update: Monday he attended a private service at St. John's.)

St John's Episcopal Church in Washington DC is a favorite for Presidents to attend on Inauguration Day according to the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies statistics:

A footnote on Eisenhower: on Feb. 1, 1953, he became the only president to be baptized while in office.
