Episcopalians Against Gun Violence is "an ad-hoc group of bishops, clergy and lay people disseminating information about Episcopalians who are working, collectively and individually, to curb gun violence," and you can like them on Facebook.

I'm in favor of gun control reform and the assault weapons ban, but names like "Episcopalians Against Gun Violence" drive me up the wall - it's not unlike anti-abortionists co-opting the term "pro-life". There's something of a perhaps unintentional suggestion that Episcopalians with other opinions on the subject are *in favor* of gun violence.
