Blessing of bicycles

More bicycle news today from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. From the cathedral Facebook page:


[The cathedral] salutes and welcomes all cyclists and friends with wheels at the upcoming 12th annual Blessing of the Bicycles. As is traditional, bagpipers will be present. Bikes will be blessed and moments of silence observed in commemoration of those lost this past year. Please feel free to wear your bicycle attire; you will be welcome to park yourself in the great crossing. Saturday, April 10 at 9:30 am, sharp.
