Alberto Cutié to have talk show on FOX

The New York Magazine reports that Episcopal priest, the Rev. Aberto Cutié, also known as 'Padre Beto', will return to television this summer.

The controversial former Catholic priest and Telemundo personality, who left the [Roman Catholic] Church ... will get his own talk and advice show on Fox stations in New York and Los Angeles this summer. After a few-week audition, Fox brass will decide whether the now-Episcopalian minister (sic) should get his own full-time program in 2012.

More from the Sun Sentinel:

The daily show will feature the priest, who was ordained last year in the Episcopal Church. In December, he and his wife, Ruhama Buni Cutie, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Camila Victoria.

Cutie previously hosted a popular show on the Spanish-language Telemundo Network. That led to his nickname: "Father Oprah."
