See you in twurch

The web site Twurch of England is a Twitter aggregator that updates the world with the latest from C of E deacons, priests, and bishops. Published by Peter Ould and the Church Mouse, it's a way of dipping into the ongoing thought processes of a group of the ordained within a particular region.

Bishop Alan Wilson kicked off the site by rolling out his thoughts on why he likes Twitter. Included:

  • In a job where I inevitably often interact with people on an official level, it gives me a way of colouring the rest of what I'm about
  • I occasionally search for terms like "pray for" to enrich my intercessory prayer
