Possible candidates for next ABC

The Church Times puts forward a list of bishops that might be in the running for next Archbishop of Canterbury. Rowan Williams was 51 when he was appointed in 2002, and was Archbishop of Wales, and like his two predecessors, served for a decade. The list suggests candidates who are "older"--in their sixties--who might serve for a shorter period, or "younger" bishops in their fifties.

The Church Times list:

The Older Generation
The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu (62)
The Bishop of London, the Rt Revd Richard Chartres (64)
The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham James (61)
The Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Revd John Pritchard (63)
The Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Most Revd David Chillingworth

The Younger Generation
The Bishop of Chelmsford, the Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell (53)
The Bishop of Durham, the Rt Revd Justin Welby (56)
The Bishop of Coventry, Dr Christopher Cocksworth (53)

The odds-makers have checked in:

John Sentamu: 7/4 Graham James: 2/1 Richard Chartres: 4/1 Nick Baines: 4/1 Tim Stevens: 6/1 Christopher Cocksworth: 7/1 John Packer: 10/1 Justin Welby: 10/1 John Inge: 14/1 Tom Wright: 14/1 Stephen Cottrell: 16/1 James Jones: 20/1 Peter Bryan Price: 20/1

Here is a bigger list.

I know Sentamu was born in the Global South, but I do not think I would welcome him as the next ABC. His receptiveness towards LGBT folks in the CoE has been no better than Williams.

Something of a bias towards pro-covenant bishops or bishops whose dioceses have strongly supported that document.

I just want someone who can bring the Communion together again. If Sentamu is that one than so be it.
