Another week, another sex abuse case in the CoE

A week ago we ran an item, Abuse spotlight turns to the CoE.

Today there's another story of a "historic" child sex attack alleged to have occurred.

Police have bailed Reverend Chris Hanson as officers continue to investigate the alleged "historic" offence in east Berkshire.

Scotland Yard detectives working on behalf of Thames Valley Police arrested the 63-year-old at an address in Broadgate Road, east London on suspicion of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

The Bishop of Chelmsford has suspended Mr Hanson from all his duties within the Church of England and as vicar of Ascension Church, Custom House.
