We three bishops

According to the Living Church:

Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori has appointed three bishops to “consult” with the Archbishop of Canterbury about extending an invitation for Bishop V. Gene Robinson of New Hampshire to attend the Lambeth Conference next summer in England.

Those three bishops are:

  • The Rt. Rev. Edward S. Little II, Bishop of Northern Indiana
  • The Rt. Rev. Thomas C. Ely, Bishop of Vermont
  • The Rt. Rev. Bruce Caldwell, Bishop of Wyoming
  • The bishops are being tight-lipped about details, with Little noting that he felt this was to be a "private conversation. "

Brava, +KJS !
You go, girl !!

Gene is such a compelling and gracious apologist for the Christian faith and the Episcopal Church. Beyond all the shouting, and the crazy politicization of it that has so distorted our public conversations, wouldn't it be wonderful for Lambeth conversations to include his voice?
