The covenant translated

R. Stephen Gracey, a lay deputy from the Diocese of Ohio offers a translation of the Ridley-Cambridge Draft of the proposed Anglican Covenant "into English from the original Churchese."

Mr. Gracey has given us an excellent gift in his translation. Even *I* get it!
And the covenant itself is just marvelous until about the middle of page 11 where it seems to begin contradicting the openness of its own earlier pages. By page 13 and on, it is thoroughly trashing itself with punishments no less.
