Anglican websites avoid the issues too
Do you work for a fractured organisation that is busy avoiding the difficult issues? Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, does which is why I have been looking at anglican websites this week. And guess what – they are fractured and busy avoiding the issues too.So begins an article in today's Financial Times by website effectiveness consultant David Bowen. He takes a look at Anglican websites – north and south, and on both sides of the Atlantic. Check out his conclusions here.
Readers, which websites – official or not – do you rely upon as hubs for information on the Anglican communion?

The blogs seem to have more info than the official sites of TEC et al. I use a newsfeed to collect items from around the spectrum of ideas in the church. Some sites I read regularly are OCICBW, Cartoon Church and many of the ones listed in the links on Episcopal Cafe. Of course (shameless self promotion) Episcopal Cafe is the best!!

For news qua news, The Lead is certainly my favorite. There are also some aspects of the Communion covered better by the conservatives; for those, I rely on Covenant, to which the Café's Nick Knisely also contributes. The quality of news reported at both sites tends to be high. While they attract far fewer comments than other sites, the signal/noise ratio within them is far higher.
My honorable mention would go to Bp Christopher Epting, who is uniquely well-positioned to blog about ecumenical matters and has broken a couple of very significant stories in that department.
