Akinola interview centers on homosexuality
The Sunday Tribune (Nigeria) interviewed Archbishop Peter Akinola "on how pro-homosexual Europeans are buying over weak churches in Africa to keep quiet, GAFCON and how God rescued one of his bishops from a lion." An excerpt:
Q: But there is this fear that richer churches from Europe and America will like to use money to buy poorer churches in Africa to back out of GAFCON?Read it all.AKINOLA: (Cuts in) They are already doing that. In America and England, they are using money to buy silence. They are using money to buy compromise. They have always done it and they are still doing it and they will not stop doing it.

What is there to say?
Our brother Peter needs our prayers. He's a very ill man. (Same w/ that interviewer! :-0)

The reporter's questions, criticized here, completely reflect the government-approved view. Nigeria's whole society is organized to be anti-Gay.
That's how they get away with stealing the oil money, while most of the people live in filth.
Akinola on the poor? He doesn't say a word.

Akinola offers MORAL LEADERSHIP on the street violence and murdering of hundreds Muslims vs. Christians last week after the muncipal election in Jos...nada.
The Masacre of hundreds of Muslims in Yelwa by Christians remains a tragic violation in NIGERIA and against ALL OF MANKIND.
Meanwhile, +Peter Akinola storms about Canterbury Cathedral after snubbing The Lambeth Conference held there this past August...The Lambeth Conference where open sharing, mutual understanding and enlightenment, for all, for the benefit of all were pursued.
+Akinola has lost any moral integrity that he may once of had due to his office...he doubles his Bishops and whines about Homosexuality and the ¨Hooligan Children¨ of LGBT parents.
Nigeria burns, Uganda burns...+Akinola and +Orombi continue to mouth off and attempt to export and instigate yet more fear, difference, demonizing and hate at Church, at The Anglican Communion and in everyday life.
The good news is they are clumped together with Venables at GAFCON and are easily identifiable for the harm and destruction they attempt to inflict on Episcopalians and Anglicans everywhere...in the name of a God who promotes love and tolerance at The Body of Christ and beyond.
