Is this the first tweeted consecration- do we need a new word? Twitterization?

There has been live tweeting from other consecrations, but social media has probably never been as central to a consecration as this one.

It was a truly beautiful service!

At the start of the sermon, Bishop Kirk Smith asked everyone present to do the opposite of what we are usually told to do with our technology. Instead of silencing our phones and putting them away, Bishop Smith asked us all to take them out and text, twitter, IM or FB the people we are connected with where we were, what we were doing and invite our friends to come and see.
